Dear Friends,
In anticipation of the end of session, spirits are running high. This week, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, which is a fun tradition in the General Assembly – everyone wears pink and red and we bring flowers and candy to each other. We’ve also been spending long days on the floor as we have more and more bills to vote on before we adjourn. Competition between the House and the Senate is also ramping up as we approach the end of session, as well as the annual House vs Senate Basketball game in support of cancer research.
